Trump Wants to Buy Greenland
President Trump has expressed interest in acquiring Greenland, citing its strategic importance for U.S. national security. However, Denmark, which currently governs the island, has firmly rejected the idea, stating that Greenland is not for sale. In addition to this, Trump has voiced a desire to assert control over the Panama Canal, arguing that its increasing use by China poses a challenge to U.S. influence in the region. He has also suggested renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, believing that it better reflects the nations bordering it.
